She is an Alumni of Sauk Valley Community College and Southern New Hampshire University. Katie has had a handful of poems published in Sauk's Literary Magazine The Works, The Fulton Journal, Z Publishing's Anthology of 2017, and she is a co-author of Womanhood: Identity to Intimacy and Everything in Between.
